Re: Support of Bill 260-Relating to Smoke-free indoor workplaces
Aloha! My name is Lynelle M.K. Paranada, and I am writing in strong support in Bi}I
260 we need to start protecting atl workers from the harmful effects of second hand
smoke. I also support the bill because we all know that smoking causes cancer and other
i1L.:..,~es. What will happen to the innocent, non-smoking people? 1 have found that
second hand smoking emits dangerous chemicals as much as smoking yourself, I'm sure
all employees want a safe and healthy working environment. I feet that smoking only in
certain areas is a great idea.
I urge the council to pass Bi11260 Thank you for you time and consideration in this
matter.
