kids each year by causing respiratory distress and
cigarette-caused fires.
. Each year, secondhand smoke contributes to
between 354,000 and 2.2 million episodes of
middle ear infections.
Secondhand smoke also contributes to
approximately 529,000 visits to the doctor for
asthma.
