Subject: Second Hand Smoke
This is a complaint about second hand smoke in apartment complexes and condos in Kailua Kona. Why is there no
legislation or protection for Hawaii residents in their own homes? Every hour our condo fills with cigarette smoke from the
neighbors patio below even with the windows and doors closed. Second hand smoke kills 3000 people annually, but there
are no local laws to protect our families in our homes. Do we not all have the right to breath fresh air, to be able to breath
without getting a headache from the chemicals in second hand smoke? I hope you take this message to heart, and help
do something about this problem.
