RE: Un paved roads

Per our conversation at the community meeting on Thurs. The 15'~
about the "Roads in limbo"
Most of these roads have ahHays been unpaved but were "maintained"
by the Sugaz companies as perfectly serviceable access roads.
It was suggested at the meetatg that perhaps the Coumy should adopt
a "Rural toad standard" for a graded, maintained gravel roads.
The traditional County mind set that any road that they touch needs to be paved
is, under the circumstances, not only economically un feasible but very
in efficient.
Matry of these wads don't need much to make them fully accessible to
County EMS vehicles.
Most of our neighbors and, I believe, you and your wife have purchased
prot>P*ties here on the Flamakua Coast At least in part because of the isolated
nature of living "OffRoad" and would not even welcome pavement past our gates.
A relatively small investmem in gravel and grading could very quickly bring much
higher levels of safety, and security to these Waal lands. The additional benefit to the
Coumy would of course be that these leads could then be much more easily
used for diversified apiculture thus increasing the tax base.
