Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a donation of a karaoke system for the Department
of Parks and Recreation Elderly Activities Division. This donation is being made by
Ms. Sadame Watanabe, HCR-2 Box 6843, Kea'au, Hawaii 96749 and has an
estimated value of $1,135.

A. REQUEST:
To accept and acknowledge a donation of a karaoke system to the Department of Parks and Recreation.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Kamana karaoke classes have been using a sound system belonging to the Kamana Karaoke Club for
many years. Sadame Watanabe, a teacher of karaoke, has offered to donate a new system to the Elderly
Activities Division for use by the classes. Council action is being requested to accept the donation.
