RE: Resolution 75-03 (Draft 3). to support the Healthy Hawaii Prescription
Drug Program.
Attached for your favorable consideration is a proposed Resolution 75-03 (Draft 3), to
support the Healthy Hawaii Prescription Drug program. Resolution 75-03 (Draft 3)
amends Resolution 75-03 by inserting amendments approved in the Human Services and
Economic Development Committee meeting of May 20, 2003. The amendments
approved were:
1. Add "one was" and "it was initially denied in April of 2003" in the 3rd
WHERE AS.
2. Add "to reconsider the denial of Hawai'i's application for the waiver and to" in
the NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED section.
3. Add "the Honorable" in front of'I'ommy G. Thompson's name to signify position
and title as a cabinet member of the federal administration.
Please assign this Resolution to the next Council meeting.
