NOTICE IS I[EREBY GIVEN that in compliance with Chapter 19, Article 11, Section 19-90(b)
of the Hawaii County Code, as amended. the County Council of the County of Hawaii will be
holding a meeting on the following date, time and place for the purpose of fixing the real
property tax rates for the fiscal year .luly l , 2003 to June 3Q 2004. e.a

These rates would be fixed by the County Council upon its adoption of Resolution
No. 79-03. If the Council does not act upon Resolution No. 79-03 on or before .tune 20, 2003.
the tax rates as previously set shall be applicable to fiscal year 2003-2004.
All interested persons are invited to attend and they shall be afforded the opportunity to
be heard. "Chose desiring to address the County Council should register prior to the convening of
the meeting. Those unable to attend may submit their written comments on the subject to the
Ilawai`i County Council, Hawaii County Building, 25 Aupuni Street. Hilo, Hawaii 96720.
I"he meeting place is accessible for persons with physical disabilities. Persons who need
special accommodations to attend this meeting should call 961-8255 by June 2, 2003. Persons
