A. REQUEST:
New Position - Power Mower Operator - Kona District
H. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Due to the development of 13+ acres of ballfields and other facilities
at the Old Kona Airport, an additional maintenance position is necessary
to upkeep the area.
The present staff is not able to maintain the additional acreage and has.
already been overburdened with their present maintenance responsibilities
in other areas of the district.
Although the District presently has a Power Mower Operator, he is already assigned
to all eight current parks.
