Re: Ordinance Amending Chapter 4, Section 4-32.1, Hawaii County Code 1983, (1995
Edition) Relating to the Training; Appointment; Powers of Humane Officer
The contract for animal control in Hawaii County is now under the administration of the
Hawaii County Police Department. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending Chapter 4,
Section 4-32.1 of the Hawai `i County Code transfemng from the finance director to the police
chief the duties for training, appointment and the authorization of power of humane officers.
