They have solicited and have received proposals from organizations to assist in its Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Program. The Research Corporation of the University of Hawai`i's (RCUH) proposal to implement a Title V juvenile delinquency prevention program at the Lanakila Learning Center was selected. Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Research Corporation of the University of Hawaii (RCUH) for a Title V juvenile delinquency prevention program. REQUEST: Approval authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Research Corporation of the University of Hawaii (RCUH) for a Title V juvenile delinquency prevention program to be implemented at the Lanakila Learning Center. A total of $81,970.00 will be provided to Lanakila Learning Center to enhance their existing program. B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED)' The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney received Title V federal funds for a juvenile delinquency prevention program in Hawaii County.
