MEMORANDUM
TO: Council Chair James Y. Arakaki
And Members Of The Hawaii County Council

RE: Bill 260, Draft 5
Attached for consideration is Bill 260, Draft 5. The following amendments are pursuant
to motions made during the June l8, 2003 Hawaii County Council meeting held in Kona.
Page 2: Section 14-20(x)(6). A definition for "enclosed and partially cndosed" is added
and the rest of the section is renumbered as appropriate.
Page 4: Section 14-21(x)(4). Deleted the extra word "restroom."
Page 4: Section 14-21(x)(11). Smoking is banned in taxicabs.
Page 5: Section 14-22(x)(2). The twenty (20%) provision is deleted.
Other minor corrections were made:
Page 1: Section 1. "fhc word is was replaced by the word are.
Page 2: Section 14-20(x)(10). A quotation mark was inserted before open.
Page 3: Section 14-21(x)(3). The word dwellings was replaced by the word dwelling.
