COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 106 <br /> ORDINANCE NO.~OZ <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY <br /> CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION) RELATING TO ADMINISTRATION. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 2, article 4, section 2-11 (Issuance of warrants), of the Hawaii <br /> County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended by adding the following to be appropriately <br /> <br /> numbered and to read as follows: <br /> With reference to warrants addressed under this part, the controller may. with the <br /> approval of the director of finance, issue checks drawn from, or make electronic <br /> funds transfers from, depositories of county treasury moneys in lieu of warrants <br /> drawn from the county treasury and may accept remittance by electronic funds <br /> transfer or credit or debit cazd pursuant to standazds established by the director of <br /> finance. <br /> SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In <br /> printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person <br /> or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br /> of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to <br /> this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br /> SECTION 4.
