Dear Council Members,
I strongly urge you to pass Draft. 3 0l Bill 260. I am very dismayed at your
attempt_ to water down _his very important piece of legisla4_i on in Draft 1. All
my friends and myself ~.ncluded stopped going t.o bars years ago because of the
foul air. 1 even hate being Ln a restaurant where people are allowed to smoke.
I think these busines s~~s should welcome a strong anti-smoking bill to bring in
more customers who hav~> stayed away in droves. Sets tell the truth here -
smokiny is a very ant i-social habit and becoming more so all the time. Bars and
res taurants are social gathering places when one can breath freely.
