Aloha! Our County needs the current smoke-free workplace bill (Draft 3) to c.~
pass as is. To me, it is very simple. Employees (no matter where they n ~
work) have been protected from Asbestos (which is a Class A Carcinogen) for ~ Z ~
several years now. Second-hand smoke is also a Class A Carcinogen.
Therefore, shouldn't ALL employees (no matter where they work) be protected ~ C rn
from ALL Class A carcinogens? In fact, shouldn't ALL public citizens be
protected from Class A carcinogens? If our County passes this bill for ALL -D
workplaces, people with disabilities will no longer be discriminated against 3
and smokers would still be welcome everywhere. It's just their smoke that = f-; r'-i
