77389 Nalani Street #104

Aloha Vice Chairman Tyler,
I would like to ask the Council on behalf of the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce to
look carefully at the anti smoking bill as it stands. While Yve are in support of smoke free
workplaw: such ac ractaurantc, barc and oftlceo tho Kona-Kohala Chamber of '
Commerce does not intend to infringe on, in any way, the personal rights of citizens.
Our position is rotated to the health of employees while in the work place. There aro
several Issues in the current bill that we feel are infringing on the personal rights of
individuals. The bill must be enforceable on every level to be effective. We ask that you
carefully consider the recommendations of Mayor Kim beforo approving a final bill.
Very Truly Yours,
Eric von Platen Luder
