I am vvriring to express my support for the ncw• bill relating to smoking i.n the workplace
Bill 260).
As the ('resident of do East Hawaii Unit of the American Cancer Sacicty,l am painilrlly
aware a1'the tremendous documented health hazards puled by second hand smoke. "This
alone fs respansiblt for tzhcrttt 3,000 lung rautcer deaths in nan-smokers each year.
Being a loaner business owner in Iiila. I can empathize the fears business owners and
unciers[ancl the canccrna those operating eating and drinking estahlishmcnts may have..
