Approval of Second Amended Agreement for Special Counsel.
Dudley G. Akama, Esq., Workers Compensation Cases
Dear Chairperson Arakaki:
Pursuant to the Hawaii County Charter, Section 5-2.5 (1991), I respectfully request that the matter
of approving the Second Amended Agreement for Special Counsel, for Dudley G. Akama, Esq.,
be placed on the agenda for the Council's review and approval at the earliest possible
convenience.
An Executive Session is requested because the County of Hawaii's legal interests and defenses in
Workers' Compensation matters including case strategy and evidence will be discussed.
