In addition to the funds distributed per reference above, $31,333.00 of additional funding is provided to Hawaii County to purchase personal protection equipment. The additional funds are a result of the Office of Domestic Preparedness (ODP) transferring FY 1999 planning funds to equipment funds. ODP also extended the grant performance period from March 23, 2003, to March 21, 2004. Hawaii Civil Defense Agency and county first responder agencies have identified equipment for purchase as shown on the detailed budget worksheet. Changes to the equipment listing will require approval from ODP.
