At the CounciPs meeting of July 2, 2003, "nightclubs' were excluded from the list of
exemptions to the proposed smoking ban law. I voted for this exclusion, but learned afterwards
that my perception of a "nightclub'" was different than what exists.
1 would like to permit smoking in nightclubs as it is allowed in bars.
