Aloha,
1 am in total support of banning smoking in public gathering places.
Please pass the current version of Bill 269 draft 3 as is. Members
should vote down draft 4, which sounds like too much of a co,npmmise.
J think it's unconscionable to allow smoking anywhere near a child
cart or health cart facility. Bcforc moving to the Big Island 9
years ago, my husband and 1 lived in 4alitbrnia, where smoking was
banned virtually everywhere, and where restaurants, hotels, and bars
thrived and thrive today.
