Subject :Request time for a presentation by Art Souza regarding Waimea Charter School during
the Committee on Human Services and Economic Development meeting on August 5,
2003.
1 would like to request one half hour of the Committee on Human Services and Economic Development
time for a preservation by Art Souza or a representative on August 5, 2003. He would like to present some
information with island wide interest regarding the recent conversion of Waimea School into a charter
school and their vision for the future.
Please notify my council aide. Michelle, if you approve this request so the proper arrangements can be
made.
