SUBJECT: SIGN VARIANCE -HAWAII TRIBUNE HERALD
TMK: 2-3-10:03 355 Kinoole Street, Hilo
Zoning: Downtown Hilo Commercial (CDH)
Per Chapter 3 of the Hawaii County Code relating to Advertising and Signs,
the maximum allowable size for a ground sign is 32 squaze feet. The subject
sign has a total projected azea of 46.25 squaze feet. The applicant is proposing
to hide the lower base of the sign with low ground cover.
The Building Division has no objections to the variance request.
