The Hawaii Office of the Prosecuting Attomey has been selected to receive a grant award from
Hawaii's FY 2003 Edward Bymc Memorial State and Local Law Enforcement Assistance Formula Program
for the following project:
Project Title: Community Oriented Prosecution
Amount: $200,001 Federal

Your agency is responsible for providing the 25% match. If the project is unable to provide al] of the
required match funds, please have the project director call the assigned specialist.
An Applicant's Manual is being sent directly to the project director. She will need to submit an
original and two copies of the application to the Department of the Attomey General, Crime Prevention &
Justice Assistance Division. Instructions on completing the application are provided in the manual.
