We request final subdivision approval of the attached plat. We are creating road remnant Parcel
"A" containing 383 square feet. Parcel "A" will be abandoned by County Council Resolution
and offered for sale to the adjoining property owner.
Last year, Ballard Mortuary (Family Funeral Services, LLC) requested an easement over a portion
ofAlenaio Lane to address an encroachment problem. A section of the mortuary building is within
the Aleanio Lane right-of--way. Attorney Steven Lim of Carlsmith, Ball, LLP is handling this
problem for the owner. We reviewed the problem and will be recommending the fee disposal of
Parcel "A" as noted in llirector Demfis Lee's August 30, 2002 letter to Mr. Lim (copy attached).
Our surveyor's certification of staking is attached. A CAD file cf the plat is also attached. Please
contact Engineering Division surveyor Ron Matsumura at 961-8934 if you have any questions.
