You may wish to consult your attorney and surveyor for the preparation of the necessary legal documents
and description of the certified final plat map for the purpose of recordation with the State of Hawaii,
Bureau of Conveyances.

The County subdivision of the remnant should receive final subdivision approval sometime within the next
7 to 30 days (the Planning Director is on vacation and if the Deputy Director can sign, it will be sooner,
rather than later). W e have made contact with the Corporation Counsel to have them prepare the
necessary Deed and Council Resolution for the disposition. We will keep you posted as we go along.

Steve: when you get a chance, can you update us on the status of the Ballard matter (purchase of the
road segment)?
