We are sending this fax to let you know of our recommendation Por Margarita Hopkins
to fill the position that has been vacated by Bobble Jean Leithead-Todd as County
Council representative for DlsUict #2.
Having worked with Margarita Hopkins since 1989 through her position in Research &
Development we feel that she is the perfect person for this position, and will maintain
the excellent quality of communication between the County and the Big Island
agricultural and other industries
She has always been conscientious and enthusiastic about her Job In Research &
Development and her leadership and attitude towards working with Big Island
commodities Is invaluable and goes beyond prokssionaiism. She has also become a
true friend and ally to all of us who have had the privilege of working whh her.
