States members ofthc Hawaiian Civic Clubs adopted a resolution (copy attached) at
their 43~`~ Annual Convention, urging that the original place name of'Ohai`ula be
included in the more accurate renaming of Samuel M. Spencer Park at Kawaihae.

dedication is to lultill Condition "Q" of the Machado Acres Subdivision Rezoning
Ordinance 98-105 (see enclosure), which required the donation of these park areas to
the County.
