ADJUST PASSENGER LOADING 7_ONE The Waiakeawaena School Safety Cummittee, Waiakeawaena Parents Teachers Association and the Waiakeawaena School Community Based Management Committee requests the existing Mid-Block Crosswalk fronting the Admininistration Office be eliminated to accommodate the new proposed bus stop. "Che existing crossing guard at the existing Mid-Block Crosswalk will be relocated to Kilauea Avenue, Kawailani Street intersection. There is a crosswalk directly in front of the school on Kilauea Avenue. The school's Safety Committee has proposed to the Waiakeawaena Parents Teachers Association, and Che Waiakeawaena School Community Based Management Committee, parents, students and staff relocating tha crosswalk to the intersection of Kilauea Avenue any-! Kawailani Street where a? existing traffic light and crosswalk are in operation. T1,e. ; msssing guard in front of the school would then be moved to that tt affc iatersecti;.n. w.'e have two other crossing guards located on the Kawailani /Kinoole intersection arld across the school on Kinoole Street because of the upper parking lot who would remain at their present lacations. `these above named organizations and individuals are in favor of this move, We are also looking at relocating our bus pickup to Kilauea Avenue from the gym.
