This is to transmit Bill 135. Draft 3, relating to the rezoning of~ 2.814 acres of land in Olaa. Puna,
by Keaau Service Station, Inc., from A-~a to CV-20. Draft 3 amends Condition L to assure
paying for or causing the construction of 50% of the cost of installing a traffic signal at the
intersection of Huina Road and Highway L 1:
E. Access from the project site to State Highway I 1 shall meet with the approval of
the Department of Transportation. The applicant shall attempt to secure an
agreement from the State to use the relocated service station easement. li
permission is obtained, access shall be solely from that easement. In either case,
the applicant shall pay or cause the construction of 50% of the cost of installation
of a traffic signal at the intersection of Huina Road and Highway 1 1 in
conjunction with the State's planned intersection improvements within one year
from the effective date of this ordinance.
