Subject: Ordinance Establishing a Taxi Stand in Kailua-Kona
Attached is an ordinance for the establishment of a public taxi stand at the pier in Kailua-
Kona. Currently, taxis greeting visiting cruise ships have no staging area in which to
wait for potential riders. The establishment of the taxi stand, which will be located just
outside the guard shack at the entrance to pier, will provide two stalls for taxis.
