Re: Resolution Transferring Funds
Enclosed is a resolution transferring $325,000 out and from the Contingency Relief
account and appropriating $225,000 to the Cost of Sale -Hamakua Land account and
$100,000 to the Office of Management OCE account.
Funds are required to proceed with the survey work necessary to sell the remaining
County properties in the Hamakua area. In some cases consolidation/re-subdivision is
required to allow access to all properties.
Additionally, funds are requested for providing guidance and stimulus to communities with
large capacity cesspools that require upgrading or replacement by April 5, 2005, to meet
EPA mandates.
