Testimony RE: Bill 133
Membero of the County Council:
behalf of the Central Kona Union Church 1 request an opportunity to pteeatt
testimony on Bill 133 at the County Council Meeting in Weat Hawaii on Wednesday,
September 17.
I exproaa appreciation to Councilman Jce Reynolds for defetsinQ this matter to the
September 17 meeting in West Hawaii.
To date; Ann Peterson, Chairman of the Traffic Safety Commission has submitted a letter
to Councilman Curtis Tyler and Mike Mabukawa, member of Centel Kona Union
Church has submitted a letter to Councilman Joe Reynolds.
This testimony is in support of the points made in the above mentioned letters The
concern of the leaders of Central Kona Union Church is the safety of pedestniana not only
on days when services are held but at all rimes. We rospect the edvioe of County
Enaineere but would like to add to their recommendations, the installation of diatlnctivo
lights at the crosswalk.
