(Bill 140) RELATING "CO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND PINANCING'I~I II(RI{OF FOR I'HE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2003 'I'O .IUNE 30, 2004 (by adding the $33.000 1 ]obkena Beach Park Water Meter Project) _ from Councilmember Bob Jacobson, dated August 7.2003, transmitting the above bill. The Ho'okena Community Water Association (HCWA) owns the current 5/K" water meter and will install a larger I'/" water meter. On busy beach days, the water system cannot provide sutfcicnt water for the park and HCWA residents, and some of the tixtures in the park cannot be utilized due to lack of water pressure. l~hc improvement should provide park users with continuous restroom and shower conveniences. This appropriation represents the County's share of the replacement costs.
