Roe, FAAPMR and Dr. Meng Cheng Roe, FAAPMR, together with Judy Ka Hung Ng Christensen, MIM/MBA and Anne M. Chipchase, MA. The four partners bring a wide range of different skills and experiences to the venture. In addition to his work in rehabilitative medicine, Dr. TIM Roe (CEO and Medical Director) has spent a great deal of his career in Texas and the Southeastern US in hospital administration dealing with compliance and quality management issues. He will receive his MBA fro the University of Hawaii-Manoa this May. Dr. Meng Roe (President), a native of Hong Kong, long-time Hawaii resident and graduate of the john A. Burns Medical School, has a commitment to improving healthcare in her ancestral homeland. Judy Christensen (Vice President-Operations), who grew up in Hong Kong and is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, as well as English, is a graduate of the American Graduate School (Thunderbird) and is on leave from the Finance PhD program of the University of Hawaii-Manoa College of Business Administration. Anne Chipchase (Vice President-Marketing), for many years an advertising agency executive in Hawaii, is a committed Sinophile, with a master's degree in Chinese Studies. 1 HT Timothy J. He maintains a private practice in Honolulu and is a medical staff member of The Queen's Medical Center, Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, and Kuakini Medical Center. Before coming to Hawaii, he served as Medical Director of St. Joseph Regional Rehabilitation ~ Center and as Assistant Professor at Texas A&M r; ~ University School of Medicine in College Station, Texas. He has also served as Medical Director of Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Florence, South Carolina, and as Director of West Los Angeles Veterans Administration Medical Center Cardiac Rehabilitation in California. In each of these positions, Dr. Roe was intimately involved with facility development, quality management, and accreditation/ certification efforts. He received his degree in Medicine from Loyola University - Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. His internship and residency were completed at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He is a diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Roe is licensed to practice in Hawaii, Texas, South Carolina and California. IHT Meng Cheng Roe, MD, FAAPMR Dr. Roe is President of International Health Technologies, LLC. She maintains a private practice in Honolulu and is a member of the medical staff of Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, The Queen's Medical Center and Kuakini Medical Center in Honolulu. She is licensed and has practiced medicine in California, South Carolina and Texas before moving back to Hawaii in 2000. Dr. Roe is diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the National Board of Medical Examiners, as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation ~f. and the Physiatrist Association of Sports, Spine and Occupational Rehabilitation. She received her medical degree from University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. Her internship in Internal Medicine was completed at Cedars- Sinai medical Center and her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). In addition to English, Dr. Roe is fluent in Putonghua and Guangdonghua. IHT Judy Ka Hung Ng Christensen, MBA Ms. Christensen is Vice President -Operations. She is a graduate of the prestigious American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and is a second level Certified Financial Analyst candidate. She is currently completing her PhD course work in Finance at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has several insurance and security licenses. She has worked as project manager for executive education programs held for members of senior management of Korean Air, POSCO and CAAC. A native of China, Ms. Christensen's primary languages are English, Mandarin and Cantonese. ,1 HT Anne M. Chipchase, MA Ms. Chipchase is Vice President -Marketing. She has 30 years experience helping to market some of Hawaii's and America's largest packaged goods, retail and service organizations. Among these are Brown & Williamson Tobacco's KOOL Cigarette brand, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Wonder Bread, Longs Drug Stores and Pepsi Cola Bottlers. One of her areas of specialization is crisis management communications. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is working on an advanced degree in anthropology, specializing in China.
