SUBJECT: WAI OLA "WATERS OF LIFE" PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL
TMK: (3) 1-7-08: 003
As of this writing, the Wai Ola "Waters of Life" Charter School has not applied for a building
permit for any of the structures on TMK: 1-7-08: 003. We will notify your firm when the
application is made.
We are aware that the school is conducting "field trips" to the site and we have conferred with
Ms. Laurie Saarinen, a member of the Charter Schools Board of Directors, that they are not
conducting school in the existing main structure.
Lastly, we have, on the subject parcel, notified both the school and their architect that they will
need to obtain building permits for their shade. These buildings cannot be used continuously as
school rooms even after they are permitted.
