During t4~e 24 }=eaz n o2 my pulmonary practice, 141ave seen patients that smoke ancUor
lived with snwkers in the household. The pulnwnazy problems aggravated by smoking
have been repeated in histories from these individuals. The patients with tuns disease
know and try to excuse themselves from the exposure to the smoke. If they are able to
eliminate the smoke exposure, the}=feel better and are able to be more functional.
I personally know of individuals that suffer nasal irYitation and headaches when smokers
light up in a restaurant thst they are dtning in
I and all Hie patients that suffer from [ung disorders wish to support and voice our desire
