Called this monvng @ 9:40 a.m. asking that this
message be faced to you in Hilo. Against this bill
in bars and nightclubs. Understands why it's a
divided bill. Very concerned -she has 3 vacation
rentals in Kona. Since 911 it's been hard and more
so after SAlZ5. Peels touuists might feel this is
another reason not to come to I-lawaii - if they can't
go and smoke in bars or in their vacation rentals.
Many of our tourists arc Japanese and they smoke.
Says she has asked your aide to tell her how you
voted on past drtitts of the bill. Regardless of
today's vote, says she would like you to call her
