We wish to testify on behalf of the Ainaloa Community Assocration S[affand Board of Directors
regarding Wai Ola Public Charter School. They have been based here since September 2"', with
approxrma[ely one hundred and thirty students. All ofihe students are here only m the rooming and
nttemoon for the opening and closing of school and planning for the days activties. 'The students
then depart m small groups for vanous excursions and teaming trips. The students are transported
by two large school buses for their traps and are also delivered to and from the school by these buses
Only about ten parents dove m and drop thetr children off The school +s well organized and wtth
enough teachers to prov+de adequate supervision for the students at all times While children will be
children the school moves very rapidly to rosolve problems and make clwnges for a smood+er
operation. The school environment is characterized by Aloha and desire for all students to work
cousctentiouslylowards one school working m lokaht-unity with harmrn+y.
Wa+ Ola Charter school has NOT created any undesirable situations that have irttpaded ow
neighbors or v+srtors to our center. In fad, we have had many compliments on tl+e school children
from our residents They follow all rules and regulations sd by our Association and to ou+
knowledge that are set by the Coutrty for the students health and safety h has barn a pleasure
werkmg w+th the teachers and siaffand of course all the wonderful children with smiling faces.
