Originally, Bill No. 145 was to amend the Operating Budget by appropriating $15,444 to the Click It or Ticket Program Grant account for the Hawaii County Police Department. However, the Police Department has just been informed that the funding has increased to $30,888. These funds will still be used to increase the awareness of youth and teens to the state seatbelt usage laws. Draft 2 of Bill No. 145 changes the appropriation from $15,444 to $30,888 for the Click It or Ticket Program Grant account. We apologize for any inconvenience that this change may cause. Should you have any questions, please feel free to call the Police Department. Thank you very much. l<'JZ~~~ William Takaba Director of Finance APPROVED: 8 Harry Kim Comm. No. Mayor Ref.
