Dear Councilman Holschuh,
1 am writing to request your assistance in obtaining a change for the one-way status of Pakalana Street in
Honoka'a. Currently, the one-way status on Pakalana Strut begins at 7:30 a.m. end ends at 2:30 p.m. to
ensure the safety of both the Honoka'a Elementary students as well as the Honoka'a High and
Intermediate School students.
Due to a change in our school hours, we are requesting that the one-way status being at 7:00 a.m. and
end at 2:30 p.m. This time change will albw for continued safe passage both before and after school for
all of our students.
