Enclosed are the following:
Bill No. 174, Draft 2, amending chapter 19 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 Edition),
Real Property Taxes, Relating to Home Exemptions.
Bill No. 175, Draft 2, amending chapter 19 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 Edition),
Real Property Taxes, Relating to Valuation;
Bill No. 176, Draft 2, amending chapter 19 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 Edition),
Real Property Taxes, Relating to Nonspeculative Residential Use Assessment; and
The changes included in draft 2 of each bill are aimed at clarifying and correcting the original
bills. The purposes remain the same.
We would appreciate it very much if you would distribute the enclosed bills to your members
prior to the workshop on exemptions that will be held on Monday, November 3, 2003.
