RG: Bill 173, Draft 2 -Relating to The Bay Club Ownership
Attached for your review is the above bill. Please have it referred to the next Council meeting for
consideration. Amendments made to this bill at the last meeting of Council's Planning Committee include
the following:
Bill No. 173 I. Amend Condition K so that granting authority for further requests for time
extensions is the Council rather than the Planning Director.
2. Amend, Condition J, regarding fair share assessments, to say that any in lieu
contributions would have to come to the Council for review and approval.
3. Add a new condition that reads: "No seawall that artificially fixes or hardens the
shoreline shall be constructed within the 40-foot shoreline setback".
