ORDINANCE NO. '83 1~9
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE
1983 (1995 EDITION) RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COiJNCiL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 3, section 24-275.1, Schedule 23.1,
of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended to read as follows:
Section 24-275.1. Schedule 23.1 Public road taxi stand locations.
When signs or markings are provided, public road taxi stands in the County shall
be located at the following locations, a~td no person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle
therein:
(h) Hamakua
(i) North Hilo
(j) South Hilo
(k) Ka'u
(1) Kohala
(m) Kona
(1) Ka ahumanu Place beginning from a point 22 feet north of the
entrance to Kailua Pier extending north for a distance of 32 feet. Two
parallel parking stalls will be established in this location.
(n) Puna
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored.
In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 3. if any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any
person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or
application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
