ORDINANCE NO. x.47
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COiTNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION),
RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2 (moving vehicles), section 24-267, schedule 15 (one way
streets) under (a) Hamakua, is amended to read as follows:
(3) Pakalana Street in Honokaa. All vehicular traffic shall move in the mauka direction from Mamane
Street to Kamani Street between the hours of [7:30] 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on school days only.
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In
printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included.
SF,CTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is
held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provision or applications of the ordinance which can be given
effect without the valid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be
severable.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
