Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a donation of playground equipment for the
Wai'iihinu Park. This donation is being made by the Friends of Waiohinu Park, P. O.
Box 197, Na'alehu, Hawaii 96772, and has a total estimated value of $17,868.64.

A. REQUEST:
To accept and acknowledge the donation of playground equipment for Waiohinu Park.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Council action is being requested to accept and acknowledge a donation of keiki playground equipment for
ages 1-5 to the Department of Parks and Recreation. The donation is being made by the "Friends of
Waiohinu Park" as part of the P&R Friends of the Park Program. Installation of the playground equipment is
being done by "Friends of Waiohinu Park" volunteers.
Total cost: $17,868.64
