Number 140. The original Data Project/Financial Impact Statement dated August 7, 2003
incorrectly reflected $33,000 in the Expenditure/Fund Source section, which should have been
stated in $1,000 or $33.

PROJECT /PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
To replace and Install a 2"water meter supporting the Ho bkena Beach Park facilities. The appropriation amount represents the County's
share of the replacement costs.
PROJECT/PROGRAMJUSTIFICATION (what is the project/program trying to address or solve, area/population served, benefits beneficiaries, etc.
Currently, on busy beach days, the water system cannot provide sufficient water for both the park and the residents. Some of the new park
futures cannot be utilized because of the lack of water pressure. The primary purpose Is to provide the primary users (residents of South Kona)
with continuous restroom and shower conveniences. Secondary users will be the residents of the Big Island and visitors using this park
