A~~,I~ ~ I would like to use this opportunity to briefly express my /1~~~ n concerns ~Y ~ l'`ti regarding this issue of reaoning at O'ome II. I would pteftrto see this land protected and left as a beautiful open space for all to enjoy naturally. Since that is not gating to happen, I would like to encourage proactive planning that protects resowces, culture and society, We do not need any morn hotels, shops etc.. to add to the growing traffic prooiem in none as well as 4he inercasing noise, air eau ocean pollution. People come to the Bi_Q Leland because it is still considered "primitive and wild" in it's esthetic natural beauty. Please don't take that away from us who live bere and the people who come to enjoy the spiritual end physical beauty of this place. It is so important to preserve and protect these rapidly diminishing open spaces when we are living in such turbulent tir~les throughout the world. ff this partiodar space must be developed then please do so with the intention and rnnawiniicn'ac of haw it will serve us all in a positive and healthy way. Please be mindful of the choices that you make when developing this land. 1 of 2 Comm. No: Ref. To: Ref. The ancient Hawaiian techniques and way of life can teach us all why it is so important to respect mother earth and the beautiful gifts she provides us with. These beliefs can help us all return to a simpler way of life which will help the world evdve into a more peacefirl state. Building mare commercial space is not going t0 help arryone in the , long run. 1 thank you for talong the time to read my thoughts and hope that they 'a....Y:.... a..«„n ~6~ n~nllinrt yl~wiCn nn aie {aAefl lllW Wl4YYW OYNI YW lu6 YaV aYas~6 this issue.
