The basic bid for the park included a pavilion with restrooms, a parking lot, the grading and grassing for a soccerfield extension, a chainlink fence realignment, a drywell, a septic tank and a leachfield. The apparent low bid price is more than was previously appropriated to this project. To comply with the requirements of Condition M of Ordinance No. 92-40, Kohala Ranch LLC will provide $140,000 for Ho`oko Park improvements in Waikoloa Village, of which $102,300 will be allotted to this CIP account. The remainder of the $250,000 will be funded by County sources.
