Mmgmt. Commission authority to set rates, has been agendized for this week's Committee meeting. As a member of the Commission, but not speaking for the Commission as a whole, I urge you to vote "yes" - to give the Commission authority to set rates. I think it would be wise to have a "super over-ride," i.e. a 6-3 vote for or against the rates as sent by the Env. Mgmt. Comm. (I'm not exactly sure what the correct term for that is, but you get the idea.) I appreciate you and Mr. Tyler's presence at the Dec. Env. Mgmt. Comm. meeting. It was good to hear from you both. The January meeting is in Waimea -and any and all council members are always welcome. Please let me know if there are any questions I can answer, as you think about this idea. Happy new year to you!
