The intent of the proposed bill is to have the above-mentioned item included within the Capital Improvement Program. PROJECT/PROGRAM JUSTIFIC'AT ION.• Currently Kaumana City Subdivision (formerly portion 2-~-02-13) has water pipes connecting the fire hydrants throughout the subdivision with no water supplying the hydrants. With approximately 276 property owners within the subdivision, it causes severe constraints to the Fire Department in emergencies requiring water. The intended testing is aimed at identifying whether the water system constructed previously can be used for fire protection purposes. Is a p~°eliminary step in resolving the problem and raising the level ofpublic safety for the area residents.
